Broadacres Golf Course
Broadacres Golf Course features a challenging 9 holes known by some as Orangetown’s “Hidden Gem”.  Its fairways lined with towering Oak trees and its well-maintained undulating greens provide a test for the seasoned golfer and a pleasurable experience for golfers at all skill levels.

The approximate 65 acres that included Broadacres 9 holes was founded as a private club for Rockland Psychiatric Center employees in 1962. The course takes its name from the Broadacres farm, the property on which the Rockland Psychiatric Center (then Rockland State Hospital) was built in the 1920s.

The clubhouse dates from the 1930s, and was used by the Red Cross while serving Camp Shanks during World War II. As the number of RPC patients and staff declined, private memberships were offered to non-employees. In late 2003 the Town of Orangetown began operating Broadacres as a public golf course.

we look forward to welcoming you to Broadacres.  For more information on Broadacres Golf Club, please contact the pro shop at 845-359-8218.
